Curriculum

A complete preschool dance curriculum for ballet, hip hop and tap

Dancing Dots gives dance teachers a full preschool curriculum across three styles, so you can launch or grow your preschool department without writing everything yourself.

Three styles, one consistent approach

Each syllabus is built around a character children love — Ballerina Bear for ballet, Hip Hop Hippo for hip hop and Tappy Tiger for tap. The class shape is familiar across all three, so children and teachers can move between styles easily.

  • Ballerina Bear: preschool ballet basics, musicality and imagination
  • Hip Hop Hippo: preschool hip hop, rhythm and self-expression
  • Tappy Tiger: rhythm, listening and early tap steps

What the curriculum includes

  • Full class guides with activities in teaching order
  • Original music for every activity
  • Instruction videos for teachers
  • Reward charts and printable resources
  • Logos and branding for marketing your classes
  • A teaching licence for your school, paid once

Why not write your own?

You can — but it takes months to plan, source music, film demonstrations and design materials, and the result depends on whoever wrote it. A ready-made curriculum gives every teacher the same strong starting point from day one.

Frequently asked questions

Is Dancing Dots a subscription or a licence with monthly fees?

No. Each syllabus is a one-off purchase of £375, or £800 for all three. There are no monthly fees, no annual renewals and no per-student charges, and your school keeps access for good.

What ages are the syllabuses for?

Every Dancing Dots syllabus is written for children aged 2 to 5. Some activities include notes for adapting them for younger or older children in the group.

Is the music included?

Yes. Each syllabus comes with original music written for the class, so you don't need to source tracks or worry about licensing popular songs.

How do teachers access the content?

Everything lives in your school's My Classes login, which works on a phone, tablet or laptop. Teachers can play the music straight from the class guide and save tracks for offline use.
